  • Contract Administrative Law Judge for the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings, since 2014.
  • On the roster of arbitrators for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), formerly known as NASD (National Association of Securities Dealers), for disputes relating to securities, since 2005. Also on FINRA’s arbitrator chairperson roster since 2013.
  • On American Arbitration Association’s panel of arbitrators for Minnesota No-Fault automobile insurance disputes, since 2004.
  • Qualified neutral for mediations and arbitrations under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice for the District Courts, since 1994.
  • On the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry’s roster of neutrals for its Early Neutral Evaluation process, relating to home warranty disputes, since the program began in 2011.
  • Practicing attorney since 1980, and principal of the Law Office of Steven M. Bialick since 1984.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975 from the University of Minnesota. Majored in Psychology and graduated summa cum laude (highest honors).  
  • Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1980.
